Burbank Man Going To The Bank With $10M SuperLotto Win
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Burbank? Change that to Makingbank!
Brian McMahon came forward today to claim a $10 million jackpot from a weekend SuperLotto Plus drawing.
McMahon was the lone winner of Saturday night's drawing, with the winning numbers 6, 7, 12, 19, 30 and mega-number 10.
Not surprisingly, McMahon said he plans to use the money to have a "great life."
"I want to make the money grow and secure my children's future and my grandchildren's future," he said.
McMahon said he is in the entertainment industry, working as a prop-maker.
He purchased the winning ticket at La Paz Liquor, 4101 W. Magnolia Blvd., according to state lottery officials. The store owners, Daniel and Jin Roh, will receive $50,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Seven other tickets for Saturday's drawing matched five of six winning numbers and were worth $8,668 each, lottery officials said.
