LOS ANGELES (CBS) — American women have a 1 in 8 chance of developing breast cancer.  The band Juke Kartel has played with some of the biggest acts in music.  When one of their band members was touched by breast cancer, they knew they had to do something.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of their song  Brightest Star will go the Susan G. Komen For The Cure LA County Affiliate.

    The song is just amazing. Makes me teary whenever I hear it, even more now because I have yet another friend who was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I’ve been a loud+proud Street Teamer for these fabulous boys since day one and all the work they’ve done to shed light on this issue.

Juke Kartel has dedicate their art and passion to the cause of finding a cure for breast cancer and this reflects the bands passionate souls.     A beautiful story. I just love this song. One of my close friends was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year. I sent her the song.
