Hate Graffiti In Santa Ana

SANTA ANA (CBS) - Graffiti threatening Governor Jerry Brown and President  Barack Obama was found on a wall in Santa Ana today.

The latest in a series  of tagging incidents targeting public officials and ethnic and religious  groups, the spray-painted messages were reported just after 7 a.m. in the 3200  block of Greenville Street, near Alton Avenue.

According to information from Santa Ana police Commander Tammy  Franks, the messages included racial slurs and one which said the governor and president would "soon die."

In January, death threats against Brown, along with swastikas and racist epithets regarding blacks, Mexicans and Asians were found on buildings and churches in Anaheim, Brea, Irvine and Santa Ana.  Kim Rebar Henry, 56, of Fullerton, was arrested Feb. 14 on suspicion of those incidents and authorities are looking into whether there is any relationship between the two.

The U.S. Secret Service as well as the California Highway  Patrol, which provides security for the governor, have both been notified.
