Ducks All-Star Goalie Hiller On Injured Reserve

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Anaheim Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller has been placed on injured reserve with dizziness and fatigue.

The Ducks announced Wednesday that their All-Star goalie will miss at least three more games, starting with a visit from the Washington Capitals later in the day.

Anaheim has recalled Timo Pielmeier to serve as Curtis McElhinney's backup against Washington.

Hiller has played just once since he was pulled from the first period of his first game back from the All-Star weekend, where he was the only goalie representing the Western Conference.

He sat out three games with lightheadedness and fatigue before shutting out the NHL-worst Edmonton Oilers last Sunday. Hiller then reported more dizziness after Tuesday's practice.
