LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities say a hit-and-run driver is at large after fleeing the scene of a three-vehicle crash in the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway approaching Pacific Coast Highway.

The crash, which happened about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, when the speeding suspect tried to change lanes and collided into a 43-year-old Redondo Beach man driving a 1999 GMC, California Highway Patrol Officer Daniel Dinsing said. The collision caused the truck to roll over, and a 22-year-old Harbor City man in a 2007 Toyota in the next lane swerved to avoid the truck.

The Toyota rolled over and crashed into the center divider.

The driver of the Dodge took off, Dinsing said. The Toyota driver and the driver of the GMC and its passengers – a 43-year-old woman and a 1-year-old child – were taken to a local hospital for treatment,
