Authorities Search For Missing Menifee Man, 20

MENIFEE (CBS) — Authorities Saturday were looking for a 20-year-old Riverside County man last seen wearing a black petticoat in West Hollywood.

Deputies in West Hollywood had Douglass Henry Hurd's vehicle towed Thursday morning after it was found abandoned and blocking traffic. On Friday, some of Hurd's belongings were found near Hollywood High School, according to authorities.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Steve Whitmore tells KNX 1070's Bill Cooper that Hurd's father is in the process of looking for him.

Hurd was last seen wearing a black petticoat along with white pants, a green shirt and white sneakers, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

KNX 1070's Ed Mertz reports that Hurd is described as a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches and 135 pounds, with brown eyes and medium-length brown hair.

Anyone with more information as to Hurd's whereabouts was asked to call deputies at the Menifee Station at (951) 210-1000.
