Detectives Believe Murder May Be Gang-Related

COMPTON (CBS) — A man standing with another male was shot and killed Wednesday in Compton when two men walked up and one pulled a trigger in what detectives believe may be a gang-related killing.

The shooting occurred about 12:50 p.m. in the 200 block of North Spring Avenue, between Compton Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, said Deputy Lillian Peck of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.

The suspects fled in a vehicle.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Peck said.

Why no suspect description? I’d bet that the assailant is an asian engineering student. Reason being, grades just came out, and if those guys don’t get straight A’s, they act crazy.

Finally, gangster assassins are aiming better! Usually they hit anyone or everyone but their intended target.

Boy that is some good detective work, boys. A shooting in Compton MAY be gang related?

Compton is gang infested yes, but not all residents are affiliated. Why was the name of vitum withheld, for I believe this relates to my friends son, who was on his way to work. God help them. Police ask the sheriffs for help and clean your streets.
