'Peeping Tom' Sought In South Pasadena

SOUTH PASADENA (CBS) — Police Saturday released a sketch of a man wanted for allegedly peeping on a 15-year-old girl while she dressed in South Pasadena.

The incident reportedly took place last Tuesday at 10:20 p.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Primrose.

The teenage girl spotted the man through the partially closed blinds of her bedroom window, as she undressed, according to the police bulletin. The suspect was holding a camera and the girl reported seeing a flash.

She turned away to finish dressing and when she returned to the window; the suspect was gone, according to police.

The girl told her parents, who then called 911. Police responded immediately, but did not find the suspect.

"It's somebody who has an addiction that they're trying to feed and it's criminal," said Cpl. Matthew Ronnie of the South Pasadena Police Department. "Luckily the young woman had her senses about her to get a good look at him, so she knows what he looks like."

The suspect was described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, 165 pounds, 30-35 years old with receding gray hair and gray/blue eyes.

Neighbors in the tight-knit community circulated fliers Saturday in hopes of developing leads in the case.

"We do Christmas Carols together, we do block parties together, so we practically know everybody on the block," said neighbor Peter Leung.

Police ask that anyone with information should call them at 626-403-7280.
