KCAL/KCBS Awarded Best Sports Anchor Team
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (CBS) -- The Southern California Sports Broadcast awarded KCAL/CBS2's Jaime Maggio, Gary Miller and Jim Hill as the Best Sports Anchor Team at the SCSB Awards Luncheon at the Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake.
Former Dodgers 1st baseman Eric Karros was also recognized as Best Studio Analyst for KCAL's Think Blue TV pregame show with Gary Miller.
KCAL 9's Sports Central at 10:45 also won a Golden Mike for "Best Sportscast."
Vin Scully won the Play-By-Play award for his radio coverage of the Los Angeles Dodgers at the Southern California Sports Broadcasters luncheon.
