Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (January 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — It's another pleasant day on tap for Southern California! Aside from some high clouds passing over the ridge of high pressure, we will see above average conditions Tuesday.

A short wave drops into the desert Southwest on Wednesday that will kick up some winds for us. Expect some advisories to pop up in the next 24 hours.

We will see some steady warming through Thursday with temperatures peaking at about 80 degrees downtown.

The early morning hours each day will be characterized by chilly temps and mostly clear skies. Look for some cooling and the return of an on shore flow by the weekend.

Tuesday
Coastal - low to mid 70s
Basin - upper 70s
Valleys - upper 70s
Deserts - upper 60s
Mountains - low 50s
