2 USC Football Standouts Discuss New Clothing Line

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — One minute they were playing football for USC and the next they were designing a new and popular clothing line.

How did THAT happen?

Ahmed Mokhtar and Drew Ness were in-studio guests on the KCAL 9 News at 2 p.m. Monday to discuss this very thing.

Mokhtar was unable to find a comfortable hoodie, so he designed one himself. The hoodie led to t-shirts and pants and more hoodies and before you could say "touchdown," a new business and career was launched.

The sports apparel company called UNCL (pronounced uncle) has become so popular with the football set (many pros are wearing UNCL sweat shirts) that the term "uncing" now refers to hanging out in comfortable clothes.
