Child, 6, Suffers Head Injuries In Minivan Rollover Crash

TEMECULA (CBS) —  A six-year-old child suffered head injuries when a vehicle crashed and rolled over Saturday, sheriff's deputies said.

Deputies were sent around 11:40 a.m. to a crash on Margarita Road near Pauba Road in Temecula. When deputies arrived, they found a minivan rolled over.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision, said Cpl. Craig Roberts.

Deputies shut down northbound lanes on Margarita Road after they arrived on the scene.

Paramedics were sent to the scene to treat the child for its injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
