The most prolific of all of this year’s nominees in his category, Keith received a nod for “Cryin’ For Me (Wayman’s Song)” from his twelfth album, American Ride. The track isn’t his best performance on Last.fm by a long shot, possibly down to the popularity of his more uptempo tracks. The title track, “American Ride”, has a much higher count of 58,136 scrobbles from 19,890 listeners. It seems however that the emotional nature of the song, in tribute to the late Wayman Tisdale, has contributed to its nomination.
