Grace Caiazza says it happened once in 1984 and again this week — ice from planes headed toward LAX fell on Caiazza's property on Vicki Drive.
The most recent bombardment hit Caizza's car, causing $2,000 dollars in damages.
The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation to determine what airlines may be involved so Caizza can file a claim for her $500 deductible.
Engineers say ice can come from small leaks in the airplane's lavatory or galley, and as the plane descends, the ice melts and falls.
