Missing Rubidoux Girl, 15, May Have Been Abducted

RUBIDOUX (CBS) — Authorities Wednesday were searching for a 15-year-old girl who may have been abducted after she ran away from home.

Mary Belinda Bartolo called her grandmother around 2 p.m. Tuesday and said she was being held against her will in a hotel room, according to sheriff's Sgt. Bob Marks.

The call was made from a blocked number, Marks said.

Bartolo, who was described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, could be with 35-year-old Danny Ramirez, Marks said.

Ramirez was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has numerous tattoos.

Anyone with information on Bartolo's whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Jurupa Valley station at (951)955-2600 or sheriff's dispatch at (951)776-1099.
