BREA (CBS) — The new Chick-fil-A in Brea opened its doors at 6 a.m. Thursday morning.

Hundreds of people lined up for 24 hours in hopes of being one of the first 100 customers, who will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year.

The new Chick-fil-A located at 1647 E. Imperial Highway is among as many as 40 new restaurants the company plans for California in the next 18 months.

What happened to proof-reading the article before publishing? There is no United Airlines airplane (or CA Expo) in Brea. I think I would have seen that in the 35 years I have lived here.

  2. coeruleo says:

chick-fil-a sponsors hate crimes against gay people.

    1. socal says:

You said it, it must be true- NOT. It would be a crime to do any such thing, how could they stay in business?! If someone doesn’t care about your bedpartners you have to try and make them. Who cares? They make good food, their stores are clean, employees friendly.

    2. Mufon says:

      Any substantiation to that?

    3. :-) says:

      They do??? I’m there 🙂

  3. Nancy says:

I believe you are mixing up Brea and USC Chick-fil-A locations. Brea is across from Brea mall, not the UA Airplane at Exposition.

How sad that our country has come to this, when you will camp overnite to win a free junk food meal for the year. Are those people that desperate to kill themselves with this junk? Even the umemployed have more dignity. I am emberassed this would happen in Orange County!

    1. Chickalicious says:

This is a really fun event for families and a great prize! This will save our family hundreds of dollars in food this year, and gives us something fun to do with our family. Try it before you knock it. 🙂

coeruleo – Another crackpot liberal statement. You lefties are clinically insane.

    1. Rudy says:

Actually, coeruleo is correct. The owners of Chick-fil-A have expressed their support for anti-gay measures in their home state. I’m not gay but I won’t give 1 cent to a company that involves itself in discriminatory policies. Good day!

      1. Karen says:

What is an “anti-gay” measure? If you mean that they do not support gay marriage, either do I. I definitely will check out this restaurant so there will be more for me if you don’t visit.

      2. LR says:

not only do they not support gay marriage, which is their right, they donate food to any and all organizations that partake in very violent anti gay actions. im not gay either, but i will not support hate. that is just as bad as supporting racial organizations!

    2. Melanie says:

As we also feel you right winger’s are also insane.

  6. g says:

nice, free high sodium contet food for a year!!!!

  7. Karen's Expanding Waist says:

    I support anti-Karen measures.

    1. Rudy says:

Word of advice for Karen: They also serve salads.

p.s. Hope you eat a gay chicken, too!
