Man Dead, Woman Injured In Thousand Oaks House Fire

THOUSAND OAKS (AP) — A man is dead and woman is hospitalized after flames swept through a Thousand Oaks home.

The cause of the Friday morning blaze hasn't been determined.

Ventura County firefighters say the blaze was reported at 12:44 a.m. in the 1300 block of Avenida De Los Arboles. The fire was extinguished in about 46 minutes.

The Ventura County Star says a man was found dead inside. A woman was rescued and taken to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center.

The names of the victims haven't been released.
