Video Depicts Sexual Assaults On Disabled Women

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — A disturbing video uncovered by sheriff's investigators captures a group of men sexually assaulting at least 10 severely handicapped women, officials said Thursday.

An anonymous individual dropped off a computer hard drive containing over 100 hours of video depicting a sequence of sexual assaults on women, all of whom appear to be disabled, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Thursday.

The footage was shot at several locations, including one that appears to be in a residential care facility.

Investigators are seeking the public's help in identifying where and when the video was shot, as well as who the suspects are that were captured on tape.

The video is not being released but composite drawings of four of the suspects have been created based on the video footage.

Investigators also hope the individual who dropped off the video will contact them again.
