Report: LA Riskiest Place To Drive In California
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — From the crowded freeways and seemingly round-the-clock traffic, a new survey suggests there's danger lurking around every turn on the streets of Los Angeles.
KNX 1070's Bill Cooper reports the City of Angels is now the riskiest place to drive in the state after Sacramento saw an 8 percent drop in serious collisions.

The bump up to the number one slot is not a surprise to city council transportation committee chair Bill Rosendahl, who says it's just another symptom of fitting 25 million people in what amounts to a megalopolis.
Rosendahl says once public transportation projects get completed, hopefully more cars will be taken off our roads, streets and highways.
