LOS ANGELES (CBS) — “Live to Dance,” a dance competition series featuring Paula Abdul as mentor, lead expert and an executive producer, will premiere at 8 p.m. Tuesday on CBS.

The premiere will follow dancers from across the nation, auditioning for Abdul and the series’ two other experts, Travis Payne and Kimberly Wyatt.

Groups of six dance acts will compete each week for two spots in the finale.

Following the three semifinal rounds, six acts will compete in the finale, with the winner receiving $500,000.

    Seriously…..I thought the show was supposed to be about “dancing”. It seemed it was more “tricks”. That should be a different show. Needless to say I was very disappointed & probably won’t watch any more shows.

    I thought the show was very entertaining and I think it’s fantastic that age is not a factor in who can or cannot participate. I think it got off to a great start and I will be watching! Good job!
