HOLLYWOOD (AP) — Los Angeles police say a man has been taken into custody after an hours-long standoff that forced the evacuation of an apartment building along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

KNX 1070’s John Brooks Reports

Officer Norma Eisenman says officers were called to the Hudson Apartments on Hollywood Boulevard at about 3 a.m. Tuesday and found the body of a woman lying in a third-floor hallway. Eisenman says she appeared to be about 25 years old and had been shot several times.

Police evacuated some people from the building and a SWAT team was called.

The man was peacefully taken into custody in the apartment more than four hours later, according to Lt. Robert Binder.

Authorities say it may have been a domestic violence killing.

As someone who lives in Hollywood and is about to go out to run errands, knowing WHERE the street is blocked off would be a nice bit of information. But facts these days are hard to come by in the media. Lots of opinions, and speculation “she appears to be 25 years old” but no facts like um WHERE IS THIS?!!!

Heaven forbid the liberal media let facts get in the way of a story.
