Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (January 4)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Our atmosphere is drying out as the upper level low that brought rain and snow to Southern California moves off to the east.

A second low is now moving to the southwest of Los Angeles. Mostly sunny skies on tap for the next couple of days as the low is stationary. It finally moves on shore Friday, but it will target the Baja Penninsula.

We might see some clouds kick up as the low moves, but we should remain dry. A northwest flow sets up for the weekend, but again there is no rain in sight for a while.
