LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 25-year-old man reported missing early Tuesday was found safe hours later, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. 

Jonathan Rubin was last seen about 5:15 a.m. in the 5900 block of San Vicente Boulevard, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Family members of Rubin said his disappearance was even more unsettling because he suffers from autism, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and requires medicine.

Authorities found Rubin safe at 8 a.m. Tuesday and took him to a hospital. His mother was reportedly on her way to reunite with him.
