Dr. Ehab Mohamed, an Encino-based OB/GYN, was charging as much as $650,000 for some procedures, yet allegedly lying about his credentials.

Now, a wrongful death suit has been filed and the LAPD thinks a crime may have committed after 61-year-old Sharon Carpenter Nicholson died on Mohamed’s operating table. Carpenter had undergone a $100,000, day-long liposuction procedure.

$650,000? What was Dr. Mohamed working on, the Sphinx?

  3. Ann Marie McMahon says:

I reported this man to the medical board and the state attorney general’s office over 2 years ago for negligence and fraud. It is a shame they waited so long to do anything and a poor woman died.

  4. Robert N. Stone says:

My law firm has been retained to represent the heirs at law of Mrs. Nicholson who died in Dr. Mohamed’s office during a prolonged liposuction procedure. The Los Angeles County Coroner determined that the cause of death was toxicity from the drugs he administered, being lidocaine, fentanyl, and oxycodone. The lawsuit is pending in the Northwest District of the Los Angeles County Superior Court located in Encino. In the interim the Medical Board has now suspended his license to practice medicine.
