9-Mile Stretch Of PCH To Remain Closed Tuesday
MALIBU (CNS) — A nine-mile stretch of Pacific Coast Highway remains closed Tuesday due to unstable cliffs and several rockslides.
PCH is closed between Las Posas Road at Point Mugu Naval Air Weapons Station and Yerba Buena Road at County Line Beach.
Drivers can instead take Kanan Dume Road to the 101 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol dispatcher said.
Caltrans officials say geologists will wait until later this week to examine cliffs along PCH northwest of Malibu.
