Couple Busted For Possessing Counterfeit Money

PALM DESERT (CBS) —  Palm Desert officials Saturday arrested two residents on suspicion of possessing counterfeit money.

Officers from the Palm Desert Police Department Special Enforcement Team and U.S. Secret Service served a search warrant at a residence in the 74800 block of Borrego Drive.  Counterfeit currency was allegedly found during the search, said sheriff's Sgt. Jeff Buompensiero.

Steven Jacobs, 51, and Autumn Loza, 24, were arrested at the residence, he said.
