Search Underway For Armed Man In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBS) — Authorities are searching for an armed man near Atlantic Avenue and 52nd Street in Long Beach, authorities said Wednesday.
Police and SWAT team members were called to the scene after a man with a gun was spotted around 2:30 a.m., Long Beach police Sgt. Dina Zapalski said.
The man fled the scene, but may be barricaded in a nearby home.
No shots were fired and no injuries had been reported as of 5:30 a.m.
