'The Nutcracker Swings' This Weekend

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The founder and Artistic Director of the City Ballet of Los Angeles, Robyn Gardenhire, will be on hand Thursday to discuss the upcoming weekend perfomances of "The Nutcracker Swings" with Dave Gonzales and Sandra Mitchell.

"The Nutcracker Swings" takes an unusual twist on the traditional Nutcracker with a culturally diverse company of dancers and incorporates the music of jazz legend Duke Ellington.

Performances are Friday and Saturday, Dec. 3 and 4, at 8 p.m. at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, 4718 W. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90016. Single tickets in advance are $25 and $35 at the door. For more information visit cityballetofla.org.
