It isn't Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. If you're not making your own, who offers the best pie in the Southland? Look no further. I've done the research for you with fork in hand and a hearty appetite. After my culinary journey, I've made a list of the most unforgettable pumpkin pies in LA and my first pick is offering free slices of their incredible pumpkin pie all weekend!

This charming French bistro offers the most elegant and scrumptious pumpkin pie I've ever tasted. It's almost like a pumpkin mousse. You have a chance to try it yourself this weekend.

Four'N 20 ($10.50)
Check out that bad boy to go. A massive slice buried under an inch of whipped cream. Dig in your fork and it's the most buttery, flavorful and traditional take on American pumpkin pie. Don't buy it by the slice, ($4.50) because it's nearly half the price of a full pie (12.50).

Urth Caffé ($40)
I had sticker shock too. (A slice is only $6.50.) It's a lot of money to spend on a pie, but take this sucker on a camping trip and you're set for two days. I call it the hungry man's version of pumpkin pie, because I took two bites and I was full. This happens to be my husband's favorite.

The best all around pies for convenience and budget?
Costco ($6)
Not only is it delicious, this pumpkin pie is great for big groups because it's a 14-inch pie for around $6! Put it in a fancy box, decorate it with whipped cream and bring it as a guest to your holiday dinner. I swear no one will know!
Marie Callender's ($11)
Seriously, what's a list of pumpkin pies without Marie Callender's? They never run out and half of the fun is going to pick them up on Thanksgiving Day. I've been doing it since I was a kid and for good reason, the pie and crust are delicious.
