2 Injured After Metro Bus Hits Car In Downtown

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Authorities say two passengers suffered minor injuries when the Metro bus they were on crashed into a car in downtown Los Angeles.

Metro spokesman Rick Jager says the collision happened early Saturday afternoon near City Hall.

Jager tells City News Service the car turned suddenly in front of the bus and was struck on the rear end. The car did not stop and was being sought by police.

Jager says two people on the bus reported minor neck and back injuries.

No arrests have been made.
