WRIGHTWOOD (CBS) — Ski season has officially arrived in Southern California.

Mountain High is now open for skiers and snowboarders.

While the snow is machine-made for now, chilly temperatures are making opening day seem completely authentic.

Officials with the resort say as long as temperatures stay cool, snow can be made 24 hours a day.
