Thousands Of Halloween Revelers Flock To WeHo

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Hundreds of thousands of people flocked to Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood Sunday evening for the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval.

The celebration, commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture, closed with an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Time Warp dance.

"This year's Halloween Carnaval entertainment is as diverse and unique as the City itself," West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman said in a news statement.

"From the Rocky Horror Picture Show and a record-breaking Time Warp dance to Prince Poppycock and his award-winning music to highly-talented performance artists including Momma and the Wandering Marionettes. This will be a true West Hollywood-style Halloween celebration," Mayor Heilman added.
