Man Suspected Of Exposing Himself To Girls Near Fullerton Schools

FULLERTON (CBS) — Police say they've arrested a man suspected of exposing himself to girls as they walked to Sunny Hills High School, but there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.

Ruben Rodriguez, 21, is believed to have exposed himself to as many as seven girls in the area of Sunny Hills High School and Nicolas Junior High School. The latest incidents happened Tuesday.

Rodriguez was first arrested for indecent exposure on Sept. 9, when Rodriguez exposed himself to two 17-year-old women in the area of Dale and Whitaker, according to Fullerton Police.

Police say in each incident, Rodriguez would stand near his truck parked along the curb with his back to an approaching girl. As the girl got close, Rodriguez would allegedly turn around and talk to the girl while exposed and masturbating.

Fullerton Police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich said Rodriguez's actions near the schools became more bold, going from merely approaching the girls to following and talking to them, to exposing himself to them.

Rodriguez was most often seen in a white pick-up truck, possibly a Ford Ranger or a light colored Nissan pickup.

Police say there could be more victims who haven't come forward, possibly in Fullerton or surrounding communities. Anyone with information about Rodriguez or these incidents can call Detective Stuart Hamilton at (714) 738-3301.
