RIVERSIDE (AP) — California registered sex offender and self-described Satanist with “666” tattooed above his eyebrow says in a jailhouse interview that he had to strangle his girlfriend because he feared she was a police informant.

In a Riverside Press-Enterprise interview Monday at the French Valley jail, Budrow says he suspected the woman was an informant and “she had to die” because she knew he was involved in drug dealing and pimping.
