Woman Dies After Falling Down Stairs At Millennium Biltmore Hotel

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Guests at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles are frightened and baffled after a woman tumbled down as many as eight flights of stairs and died.

Authorities are investigating the mysterious death of Laura Finley, 48, of Alta Loma, who died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.

Auditions for "America's Got Talent" were being held at the hotel, but it was unknown if Finley was a contestant.

It was undetermined whether her death was a homicide, accident or possible suicide.
