Patriots Owner Thinks NFL Will Be Back In LA In Next 5 Years
CBS -- How much longer will Los Angeles have to wait for a professional team?
New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft told the USATODAY, "I'd be very surprised if it doesn't happen in the next five years. We have to be in L.A. How can we not be in the second-largest city in America, which is a gateway to Asia and Mexico?"
The NFL has been out of the area since 1995, after the Rams moved to St. Louis and the Raiders returned to Oakland.
"It's such a thriving place," Kraft added. "It's Hollywood. It's Americana. It should have Super Bowls. I feel bad that we've had more than a decade go by without having a base of young fans growing up feeling an allegiance to a team in Los Angeles."
