Lawyer Says Octomom Knew Dangers Of Pregnancy

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A lawyer for Nadya Suleman's fertility doctor says the doctor told the octuplets mother about the dangers of bearing multiple babies.

Dr. Michael Kamrava's lawyer Henry Fenton said Tuesday at the doctor's licensing hearing in Los Angeles that Suleman's medical records show the doctor consulted with her on several occasions about the dangers.

Dr. Victor Fujimoto, a fertility expert testifying for the Medical Board of California, says Kamrava's scribbled notes are indecipherable and it's unclear what consultations transpired before Suleman went on to have octuplets in 2009.

The medical board is seeking to revoke or suspend Kamrava's license to practice medicine in California.
