Kirk Gibson's Winning Bat, Helmet To Be Auctioned

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Items from one of the most memorable moments in Dodgers history will be up for grabs Tuesday.

Kirk Gibson's bat, batting helmet, home and road uniforms from his dramatic game-winning home run for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Oakland A's in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series will be auctioned off online. The auction will also include Gibson's World Series Trophy and Most Valuable Player plaque.

Gibson is now the manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

All the items will be available online at SPCAuctions.com from Oct. 27-Nov. 13.
