Ex-NFLer Turns Mentor Matchmaker For OC Kids

LOS ANGELES (KFWB NEWS TALK 980) — Big Brothers Big Sisters will match local business and community leaders with children who are waiting to be matched to a mentor for a day at Knotts Berry Farm.

The program known as "Doorways" is spearheaded by Keith Rhodes, the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. Rhodes is a former NFL player who had devoted his career to helping young people in need. He helped develop an anti-gang program in New Orleans, before coming to Southern California to work with Boystown and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
