$50K Reward Offered In South LA Woman's Death

LOS ANGELES (CBS/CNS) — Authorities today announced a $50,000 reward for information that helps solve the killing of a 23-year-old Shaquana Denise Watson, an Upland woman hit by apparent stray gunfire as she sat in a car in South Los Angeles.

The shots were apparently intended for several men walking on a sidewalk near the parked car

Homicide detectives were able to capture images of the suspect's vehicle.

The department is also offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Watson's mother gave an emotional plea and is hoping that anyone who may have witnessed the murder will come forward.
