Power Outage Prompts Closure Of Long Beach Drawbridge
LONG BEACH (CBS) — A drawbridge that connects Long Beach to Terminal Island was closed for several hours Tuesday due to a power outage, authorities said.
The Commodore Schuyler Heim Bridge over the Cerritos Channel was stuck partially raised from 9:25 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The cause of the power outage was not immediately determined.
