Edison's Burks Among Top Defenders In Orange County
The accolades just poured in for Edison DE Charles Burks: All-County, All-PAC-5, Sunset League Defensive Linemen of the Year, after a 14 sack performance in 2009 for the Chargers.
Having become a highly coveted prospect, the rumors flooded last spring with rumors of a Burks committment to Stanford.
While the Cardinal are on his list, and have plenty to offer, Burks says he's still uncommitted.
He hit the camps hard during the spring and was focused on getting back on the field after being sidelined last season with a torn fibula. Burks says he believes he's back to 100 percent.
Good news for Burks and the Chargers. Bad news for opposing QBs.
