'Ooh California' Rules And Regulations

1. Description

(a) The CBS 2 and KCAL 9 "Ooh California Feature" (Feature) will begin on August 2, 2010, and end on September 30, 2010, at 12 midnight PST. All entries must be received by September 30, 2010, at 12 midnight PST to be eligible. Feature is sponsored by KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV.

To participate in the feature, viewers may submit his or her original video for placement on the cbs2.com and kcal9.com web sites, and/or for placement on-air on KCBS-TV or KCAL9-TV. All submissions must be in one of the following formats: avi, wmv, mov, qt, mpg, mp4, or flv; and no more than fifteen (15) seconds in length. Videos submitted must be accompanied by: subject's name and city, and a brief description of the content of the video including the location for on-screen credit. Do not include music and do not include any video that you did not film yourself.

(b) Only one (1) video per e-mail address. An entry submitted is deemed to be made by the holder of the e-mail account.

(c) No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

(a) The feature is open to Southern California residents who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of KCBS-TV, KCAL9-TV, CBS Corp., other television and radio stations in the Los Angeles market, and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising agencies and their immediate family members or persons living in the same household are ineligible to participate.

3. Selection of Videos for Posting on CBS2.com or KCAL9.com or on-air at KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV:

(a) Video submissions will be reviewed and selected by KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV representatives based on the appropriate content of the video submission.

4. Conditions:

You represent that you own all copyrights in the video. As a condition of submitting your video, you will license to CBS Broadcasting Inc. the non-exclusive right for any and all uses including to broadcast your video over KCBS-TV, KCAL-TV, over the internet or in any other format now known or hereinafter invented.

By participating in the Feature, you agree to have your name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Feature, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of being featured on CBS2.com, KCAL9.com, KCBS-TV, and KCAL9-TV.

By participating in the Feature, you represent that each individual in the video agrees to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Feature, and everyone appearing in your video will be required to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to your video being featured on CBS2.com, KCAL9.com, KCBS-TV, and KCAL9-TV.

You acknowledge that CBS may, at its sole discretion, edit, publish, promote or otherwise use any video submitted by you without further permission, notice or compensation. Such publication or other use may occur on television, on the Internet, and/or in or on any other medium of communication now or hereafter devised, and may be for advertising, promotion, the use of trade, and/or other commercial purposes. By submitting a video, you (and any other individual depicted in a video) consent to such publication or any other use.

As a condition of submitting your video, you (and any other individual depicted in a video) unconditionally and irrevocably waive all claims to compensation for use of the video, and/or any rights with respect to such use you may have under copyright law, the right to publicity, the right to privacy, the law of defamation, and any other common law or statutory claims under the laws of any jurisdiction.
