Summer is heating up in Southern California with new seasonal summer menus coming to some of the hottest dining spots in LA and Orange County. There is something for everyone with fresh new cocktails, gluten-free burgers and dinner specials.

The Basement Tavern, in Santa Monica, has partnered with Matthew Biancaniello to host a new Sunday brunch menu. The new menu includes Blue Corn Pancakes, Slow Roasted Brisket Hash, Breakfast Burger Al Cheval, and Chiliquilles. All of the menu items are individually priced.
The iconic Ruby’s Diner, will be celebrating Ruby’s 91st Birthday on July 29, by offering the Next Gen Ruby’s Burger for just $3.10. The Next Gen Burger features all-natural USDA beef, unique sauce, lettuce, and tomato on a grilled artisanal bun. In celebration of 31 years in Southern California, Ruby’s Diner will have the burger available for guests at the price of $3.10 on July 29; the new burger will be available for a limited-time beginning on July 30 for $7.99.
Daphne’s California Greek
Daphne’s California Greek has just introduced their new Mini-Pita Trio for the summer. The trio features three new pitas, served on a festive metal tray. The trio includes the Greek Mini-Pita with gyros, red onion and Tzatziki sauce; the Cali-Greek Mini-Pita with grilled chicken, Daphne’s sauce, salsa Fresca, feta cheese, and Kalamata olives; and the California Mini-Pita with grilled chicken, jalapeño bacon, guacamole and salsa fresca.
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que
Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is introducing their limited-time “Summer’s Southern Flavors” menu. The new menu will bring guests on a Southern epicurean experience with their bold new menu items. The summer menu will include Brisket Nachos, Carolina Shrimp Salad, Prime Rib Sandwich, Rib N’ Shrimp, Kentucky Bourbon Pork Tenderloin, and Grilled Rib Eye & Gulf Shrimp.
Dave and Busters
Dave and Busters have just introduced a new line of refreshing summer cocktails. The cocktails feature flavored ice cubes to give guests a unique blend of flavors. The new cocktail menu includes the Strawberry Watermelon Summerita with Margaritaville Tequila Gold, DeKuyper Watermelon Pucker, watermelon puree, and lemonade served over strawberry ice cubes; Strawberry Sangria with Strawberry Rum, White Zinfandel, Strawberry Bacardi Mixer, club soda poured over a strawberry ice cube; and a Miami Ice Snow Cone with Skyy Coconut Vodka, Coconut Rum, lemonade, and Strawberry Bacardi Mixer.
Summer is strawberry season, and Marie Callender’s has just launched their new Strawberry Heaven Menu. The new menu features Strawberry Pancakes, Grilled Salmon with Strawberry Mango Salsa, Fresh Strawberry and Banana Stuffed French Toast, and Strawberry Pie. The limited-time seasonal menu is available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.
In celebration of P.F. Chang’s 20th anniversary, they are launching a new summer menu. All of the new menu items are currently available at the Irvine location and will be introduced at other locations this coming year. The fresh summer menu includes Peking Duck Summer Rolls with julienne green papaya, snow peas and carrots wrapped in rice paper; Grilled Swordfish with Pineapple Chutney served over a chilled rice and summer vegetable salad; Heirloom Tomato and Thai Basil Salad with zesty Asian ponzu dressing, and more! There are eight new seasonal dishes available for guests to enjoy a large selection of wines for pairing.

The Counter Burger now offers a distinctive gluten-free menu. Guests affected by food allergies can now enjoy The Counter’s popular burgers, shakes, and beer. Guests have endless choices to create their own custom gluten-free meal. The new menu includes a Cranberry and Avocado Turkey Burger with sharp provolone, dried cranberries, avocado, carrot strings, mixed greens, scallion and horseradish mayo on a gluten-free bun; Spinach, Avocado and Salsa Bison Bowl with a bison burger patty, baby spinach, jalapeño jack cheese, avocado, roasted corn, black bean salsa, carrot strings, scallion and habanero salsa; Beef Chili with Tillamook Cheddar cheese, red onion and sour cream.
