Slater’s 50/50 Introduces The Pizza Burger
Pizza meets burger this month at Slater’s 50/50, which features a Pizza Burger as February’s burger of the month. Fried mozzarella sticks covered with garlic marinara sauce is mixed with Italian sausage, all on top of a juicy, ground beef patty. This item will have guest’s taste buds wondering whether it is a pizza or a burger. There are three different versions of the Pizza Burger available including Hawaiian, Pepperoni and Supreme at all of the four Slater’s 50/50 locations.
Bruxie New Children’s Meals
Bruxie has been revolutionizing sandwiches with their innovative gourmet waffles sandwiches, and will now serve kids meals beginning March 1. The Bruxie kid’s meals will include your choice of a Cheesy Bruxie, PB&J or S’mores waffle sandwich along with a waffle fries or kid’s Brussels Waffle with whipped cream and berries. The kid’s meals will be available for $4.95 for children 8 and under at all four locations.

Seventh Tea Bar that features more than 30 unblended unique teas is expanding to include sandwiches, scones and pastries. Local Chef Katherine Louis has created the specialty menu of sandwiches served on artisan breads created by the OC Baking Company. There is a large variety of sandwiches available including, a Tarragon Chicken Salad sandwich with Greek yogurt-tarragon vinaigrette and a Mediterranean Sandwich with arugula and roasted bell peppers. Kid-friendly sandwiches will also be added to the menu including a Peanut Butter and Honey to a Salami and Cheese sandwich.

Fleming’s announces four new menu items designed by the culinary team under Executive Chef Russell Skall. The new menu includes a Pan Crisped Pork Belly with Goat Cheese Grits appetizer, an Heirloom Tomato and house-made Burrata Salad, a Braised Short Ribs small plate selection and a Broiled Pacific Swordfish entree. Along with the new menu items, Fleming’s is introducing six new signature cocktails that have been named The Vesper, Negroni 2.0, Moscow Mule, Dirty Doublecross and the Whiskey Revival along with Fleming’s signature cocktail, The Napa Refresher.

Bluewater Grill And Alegria Fresh Sustainable Meal Celebration
On March 7, Bluewater Grill in Tustin along with Alegria Fresh in Laguna Beach will join forces to host a sustainable meal. The five-course meal will feature the organic wines crafted from the solar-powered facility of Tolosa Winery of Paso Robles. Chefs Jessica McLeish and Yolande Smith have created a menu to include Wild Halibut and Portobello Pesto Stack, Sweet Potato Coconut Milk Soup with Black Mussels, and a Collard, Beet and Carrot Wrap with Smoked Wild Salmon.
