What You're Eating: Beverly Hills Suite 100 Special Menus

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Beverly Hills, the city's most luxurious hotels collaborated with top designers to unveil one-of-a-kind guest suites, or their version "Suite 100", perfectly capturing a moment in time from the last century. Accompanying these newly designed hotel suites, participating hotel restaurants (starting June 1 and continuing until September 20,) have released special "Legendary Luxury" menus inspired by the chosen era to compliment the feel of their Suite 100 to honor the centennial.

"Forties Film Noir" (1940s) - Executive Chef Gabriel Ask's Suite 100 menu, served in the Parq Bar, includes Panzanella Salad, Chilled Crab Tower and a specialty cocktail menu with drinks named after notable 40s icons like the William Faulkner, Alfred Hitchcock and the Ernest Hemingway which boasts, "Drinking is the way of ending the day," with rum, lime, white sugar, fresh mint and club soda.

"Stylish, Sophisticated Sixties: A Re-Imagined Revolution" (1960s) - Inspired by the "rebellious attitude of the 60s," the Lobby Lounge and Circa 55 Suite 100 menu includes desserts such as Profiterole with Warm Chocolate Ganache Sauce and Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwiches crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Thomas Henzi and popular 1960s cocktails like the French 75, Old Fashion and Mint Julep.

"The Era of Studio 54 - Fashion & Art Collide" (1970s) - An homage to Andy Warhol and Halston, Chef Nicholas Rimedio's menu at Livello includes Yakitori Grilled Organic Chicken and Horseradish Cheddar Skewers with signature cocktails like The Beverly Hills Paloma, The Golden Spoon and the stand-out, Studio 54 Fizz with Effen black cherry vodka, fresh lime juice, muddle raspberries and champagne.

"The Birth of Modern Glamour" (1990s) - Inspired by the "style and excitement of award season," Executive Chef David Codney is serving up modern Hollywood glamour at The Club Bar featuring: Peninsula Chili, Truffled Macaroni and Cheese, Chilled Jumbo Prawns with Cocktail Sauce and Dim Sum. Of course the 1990s wouldn't be complete without it's signature drink, the Cosmopolitan.
