Identical: Portraits of Twins
9430 Wilshire Boulevard

What started out as an assignment for National Geographic magazine has become a full-fledged book deal and exhibition. Former assistant to Annie Leibovitz and German photographer Martin Schoeller captures the facial differentiation between twins. The gallery is hosted by the Ace Gallery in Beverly Hills.
5909 Wilshire Boulevard
Los Angeles CA 90036
Stop by the LACMA for their weekly Hollywood movie screening. Classic flicks from the Columbia Pictures library are broadcasted on 35mm films. May 21 will feature “Dishonored,” a 1931 spy film rife with romance and suspense. The synopsis: during World War I, a lady spy betrays enemy officers, until she falls in love with one. General admission is $4.
May Mix Off
The Mixing Room
900 W Olympic Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90015
It’s a monthly duel between some of the best mixologists in the City of Angels. Contestants will be given William Grant & Sons spirits and asked to create a cocktail. Big Bear Star Party
YMCA Camp Oakes

From Thursday to Monday, May 27, the YMCA Camp Oakes in Big Bear City will be hosting a premiere star party event. Think daily telescope viewings, astronomy talks and night hikes.
