This hike in the heart of the Orange County area is 12 acres of terrain that is great for man and dog to enjoy a good workout. The trails are open and grassy, perfect for exploration. Peters Canyon Regional Park is a great location for a walk with dog at the 330-acre land that has various trails that can bring variety to the regular dog walk. The lake and creek that trickles into the canyon is a great view and break from the typical hikes, and the park has a $3 parking charge for the entire day. The 124-acre dog-friendly park with a 10-acre grove of coastal redwoods is also home to a sports complex, amphitheater, baseball fields, botanical preserve, equestrian trails, picnic areas and many more amenities.
