OC's Best Easter Events For Kids

Orange County is simply hopping with festive Easter activities for the entire family. Want to hunt for Easter eggs by the sea or by flashlight? Want to run the bases at Angel Stadium with the Easter Bunny? Grab the kids and your Easter basket and jump on down to these local events.

Dubbed one of the best and observed as one of the most well-attended Easter events in Southern California, Easter Eggstravaganza in the glorious Irvine Regional Park has all you want in family Easter entertainment, all month long. Meet and get your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Frolic on the bunny-themed bounce house. Enjoy train, pony and bicycle rides through the park. There's also cookie decorating (and eating), face painting, carnival games and, of course, the eggstravagant Easter Egg Hunt. A number of separate egg hunts will be conducted each day for children ages 2 through 12 years, to give every little hunter a chance to fill their basket. Check the website for times. Early arrival is recommended.

In partnership with the City of San Clemente, Family Assistance Ministries provides this annual brunch for local needy individuals and families. You and your family can make a contribution this Easter by donating food and time for the event. Volunteers are needed to serve, fill Easter baskets and prepare Easter eggs. You may also stop by the Calle Negocio ministry and secure an invitation if you know someone who would like to attend. Walk-ups without invitation are also accepted.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim invite you and the kids to come out on Saturday for an early, healthy celebration. Get some good exercise and support an excellent cause and Orange County's beloved baseball team. Participants in the event will have the exclusive privilege of racing through Angel Stadium, on the field. Proceeds benefit the Angels Baseball Foundation to promote and improve education, healthcare and community-related youth programs.
