There is something for everyone but it is a good idea to plan your week. One suggestion is to start the week on a light note and try a vegan or vegetarian restaurant like Chapter One: The Modern Local. Chapter One wants every visit to be the beginning of a great story. This featured restaurant serves up local produce and seasonal fare that will satisfy your appetite as well as your imagination. Chapter One is offering a special vegan dish during OC Restaurant Week: Vegan Portobello Napoleon served on a risotto cake, tomato relish, seasonal roasted vegetables, marinated & grilled Portobello, spinach truffle sauce.

Make Wednesday a night for friends and fun during OC Restaurant Week. Stop in at Laguna Beach’s 370 Common Kitchen + Drink and support Orange County native, Chef Ryan Adams. Adams’ love of cooking came to life when his family grew weary of his picky eating habits and told him to “make it himself.” When he did, he fell in love with cooking after discovering the spice drawer. 370 Common Kitchen + Drink is a great place to hang with the crew and enjoy some good food by a local for locals. Special menu item for the OC Restaurant Week: Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf with spinach, country mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy.

Friday is made for romance and Orange County has plenty of romantic venues. Take advantage of OC ‘s Restaurant Week and take your special someone out for a memorable evening. Dining by the ocean, listening to the waves crash as the sun sets is what makes Splashes Surf & Sand Resort a very romantic spot. The service at Splashes is excellent and the staff will work with hard to ensure your every wish is met. Start out with an amazing cup of lobster bisque with tarragon and crème fraîche, then try the ballotine of jidori chicken with ricotta gnocchi, broccolini, chanterelles and fine herbs sauce and conclude the dinner with passion fruit panna cotta and Chambord macerated berries.
